Have you ever been to a new place and had an overwhelming feeling that you'd "been there before?" That phenomenon is called 'déjà vu.' 

 Have you had a powerful draw to move to a different state? Or visit a particular place repeatedly? The feeling of familiarity and connection to that area is unmistakable. You may very well have lived there in another life. 

I had a powerful draw to move to Colorado. I took a trip to see if I wanted to move there. When I saw the mountains, I had an overwhelming sense of familiarity. When I set foot on the land, I exclaimed, "I'm home!" I returned to Chicago, sold my house, and lived in Colorado within a month. 

A few years after I moved there, I had an intense vision that showed I had previously lived in that same area as a tribal medicine woman.  

Mom's intuition of a past life in Egypt

I had long known I'd had several Egyptian past lives. My draw to all things Egyptian began in my childhood. I loved the Chicago Museum of Natural History and was passionate about hanging out in the Egyptian exhibits. My first regression experience took me to a lifetime in Egypt. 

Over the years, I have had other regressions to other lifetimes there. The culture lasted over 5000 years, so it's no surprise that I should have lived in Egypt over and over again. 

I couldn't contain my excitement when Mom told me she wanted to go to Egypt. We traveled there together. Several tourist attractions offer a night visit, and the tour group returns to that same attraction the next day. 

One of our night tours was to Karnak Temple, a vast area of several connected temples built by several pharaohs, which took over 2000 years of time.

As our guide led us through the darkened area of massive columns, Mom suddenly blurted out, "There's a lake around that corner!" It was an interesting thing for her to say, as we are in the middle of the desert. Of course, it was so dark we could see nothing. 

When we returned to the tour and rounded that corner the next day, there it was! A man-made lake. Our guide told us the ancient Egyptians used that lake to "sail" the dead pharaoh's body across as a ceremonial way to reach the afterlife. 

 So right on the spot - Mom had a déjà vu past life memory of one of her Egyptian lifetimes. 

Déjà vu upon meeting someone for the first time

"I know you!" Many other authors tell us that we reincarnate with the same souls throughout many lifetimes. 

It makes sense, then, that when we re-meet one of these souls, we get an intense feeling like we have known them before. We probably have. 

Déjà vu about a person may have happened to you. Most of these chance meetings leave us with good feelings and often result in becoming immediate best friends. 

 Perhaps you felt that way upon meeting the person you eventually married. I have had many people tell me that upon meeting someone new, they 'knew' this was the person they were going to marry. And did.
